Macho Max is an average history. Something you would enjoy reading on an afternoon, after work (out).It's a simple history about an average guy that befriends the bodybuilding club at uni. The story is a 5.It's simple, doesn't take itself serious and it's just plainly nothing really interesting if bodybuilding, muscles and/or gyms aren't your thing. Art is average too. Nothing impressive, nothing new but it has a charm because it evokes an older school of manga style. It looks and feels like something made in the early 80s. Characters aren't noteworthy at all because they all just serve the purpose of driving the story forward for the MC and they just deliver a couple of lines overall. To be honest this is just an extremely average series. It brings nothing new (except for the art, which is a nice throwback). But certainly it was never meant to be something else so I appreciate that in the sense that it knows it's a simple history and stays that way.The problem I do have with it is that it ran short and got cut off way too suddenly.
