I don't really know how to feel about this manhwa. I should preface and say that omegaverse isn't really my thing, but I saw how popular this was and wanted to give it a go. Surprisingly the omegaverse bit didn't bother me, but I did have other issues.

In terms of positives, the manhwa was light and easy to get through. Kind of like junk food, there isn't much substance but it tastes good. I liked that the main characters weren't walking stereotypes of the genre and they had some flexibility in their character traits. There were some really interesting dynamics between the cast and the set up for backstories was really solid.

Unfortunately, a lot of that set up doesn't really pay off. There were a lot of questions left unanswered and plot lines abandoned/neglected. There are over 90 chapters so you'd think there'd be a lot of time to flesh things out but at least half are dedicated to just sex, and it was all at the expense of the plot.

A lot of people complain about or dislike the side stories because of the triggering content. I personally found them to be gripping and a great example of psychological romance manhwa. My issue is that something that heavy and complex wasn't something that could be covered in the few side stories it got, it really should have been its own contained sequel. It felt ultimately unsatisfying because there wasn't enough time to really delve into the characters and their psychologies.

In terms of art, the artist has really nice colouring and shading work. It's soft and almost wispy if that makes sense. The proportions in the beginning were pretty rough at first ngl, but they do improve as it goes on (I've read some of the artists recent work and it's even better now). The characters suffer a bit from same face syndrome but their faces are really expressive which is always great.

I hesitate to recommend this because of the triggering content, most of it is contained the the optional side stories so there's that. I'd say if you're into fluffy and smutty omegaverse stories, you'd probably like this.

I loved the main couple, if it were only them this would've been EASY a 9/10 story; would've love them being all side stories so we see the aftermath of everything. AVOID COMPLETELY THE SIDE COUPLE AND SIDE STORIES, IT DOESN'T IINTERFIERE AT WITH THE MAIN COUPLE.

The secondary couple turned this whole thing down, avoid it completely unless you're okay with [SPOILER] incest, SA/dubious consent, toxic relationships.

Enemies to lovers, omegaverse

It's an okay read if you want omegaverse and you want a uke that's not the usual meek, submissive omega

I'd rate it 3/5, it hits the notes, the relationship progresses quite well, I enjoyed seeing Taehan and Doyun fall for each other but the art is just passable but I didn't like the side couple, it's uncomfortable that he's a doctor with such loose morals and the sudden introduction of incest in the side stories was confusing, off-putting and bizarre. I skipped them entirely. Why did they have to do that??? The main story is already over??? Why did they have to make a whole incesty side plot???
