I liked it until chapter 41. That chapter changed all of my feelings for the manga. It was going good, I'll say that but chapter 41 was not it. Spoiler, rape. His reaction and change overtime definitly could have been better and not go towards rape. The auther fucked up at the last chapters of the season. That's all I have to say.

I've been wanting and waiting to read something centered around a difficult, toxic relationship and this hit the mark. I enjoy the realistic look at two people who want to make it work but it just won't work and it's not some happily ever after bullshit. I originally thought this BL would follow the formula most BLs follow. A troubled, larger male falls for a softer, smaller male. And well, it does. BUT, what's different with Min Jiwook is that he's independent and determined with an actual personality. He doesn't seem to need much recognition from Joo Seungeon and does things because he wants to. The way he talks back and doesn't hold back when making decisions for himself, I found to be very refreshing. Even when the non-consent occurs in later chapters. Most BL authors would mull over the fact that Seungeon is abusive but Jiwook literally yells out loud that Seungeon assaulted him. Again...I was surprised. Seungeon is unsurprisingly arrogant. Not too far off from the "villain" in the story, Hyungseo. In the beginning, there seems to be no difference between the two even though Seungeon is adamant that Hyungseo is the bad guy. Both of them are troubled and violent. But, I don't think Seungeon is stupid enough to actually kill anyone. So...Hyungseo wins the murder round ^_^ I highly recommend this for the seasoned, mature BL reader. Otherwise, you will be perhaps taken aback by the violence. I'm looking forward to season 2.

I read 44 chapters and I hated probably every other chapter. The art is great. That's the truth. And that's it. THE END. I came to the conclusion that...as of recent...authors like to milk trauma, toxicity, hatred, rape in their yaoi stories. This one HAS IT ALL. I don't want to be a total prick, so I will quickly sum it up. The story revolves around a very rich, neglected as a child(bastard), dominant student, and poor, also neglected but for totally different reasons student. At the very beginning, there is potential...it's not too rough and it was pleasant to watch them getting close. HOWEVER, as you might have already predicted the poor student decides to abandon the other. They meet years later...and the first thing that happens is rape. More manipulation, more pain. These two people should not be together. There is no chance this webtoon will make you feel good. I guarantee it. By the end of 44th chapter I was so drained I didn't feel bad, I didn't sympathize with anyone. Oh, there was a puppy. I kept on thinking...where did the puppy go? That's pretty much it.
