On that night, she lost her purity as an innocent woman and turned into the most desolate being in the cold palace. What she asks for is only a simple, normal life but she is instead forced to fight to survive in the imperial palace, which is filled with intrigue, tricks between concubines, and competition for power and status...Is this the beginning of a love story or a tragedy which began the day they met?
The characters are very well drawn. The plot is not bad, the usual drama in an Imperial court. But the biggest negative of this manhua is the 3rd prince, who is with high possibility going to be the MC's ML in the future. A.k.a the person who raped her at least twice (I got to chapter 38) + sleeps with too many beauties. And it looks like the MC is foolishly starting to fall for him. You kinda get the Stockholm syndrome - vibes from their relationship. While the MC is not stupid and naive, she is still just a young girl (maid) who can't fully go against a prince. So the manhua is not bad, but can be frustrating. I don't recommend it to people who dislike the "Falling for my rapist" type of story.
The story is about a maid who gets raped repeatedly by an arrogant drunk third prince and eventually falls in love with him despite the fact that he's a POS who continuously treats her like garbage. If you don't like mature content such as rape and abuse this is definitely not the story for you. The whole story is just one big mess.
*Spoilers for the first 50 chapters who gives a shit* If you don't like a "smart" but weak MC getting constantly raped and pushed around by a scummy prince, or basically everyone around her and eventually even caring for the shitty rapist and protecting him, do not read this disgusting infuriating manwha. Due to them even blackmailing her with the life of her friend she even abandons her opportunity of going back home, despite her not being able to do fucking anything. So many opportunities for her to escape the rapist and she never fucking takes them and even develops hardcore Stockholm Syndrome. This is the most infuriating manga/manwha I've ever read.
