After Jade’s childhood friend and boyfriend comes to terms with his sexuality and breaks up with her, she stumbles to a nearby park feeling lost and alone. There, she meets a stranger who listens to her story and offers her a place to crash for the night. The handsome stranger is Nathan, a silent and puzzling man who has a tendency to pick up strays from the street.
Thoughts on Lost and Found I was hesitant to read this at first because I thought it would be like one of those rapey Josei that I absolutely hate. Thankfully, it’s not. It’s mature, yes. But it’s more than just about the smut. The plot had a tendency to be too dark. It involved suicide, abuse, sexuality and a lot of other things that could’ve been depressing. The author did a good job of pulling back though. It never went to a truly tragic story line. The characters were far from perfect. They could be frustrating at times especially when they’re making dumb decisions. I’m happy that everyone got a happy ending though. It truly has a satisfying conclusion. Overall, I really liked this webtoon. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys Josei and mature themes.
