Ryu-Yeon lost his father to a disease when he was only 10 years old. With the skill he learned from his father, he could carve wood into wonderfully intricate sculptures. One day, after completing the sculptures of his parents, Ryu-Yeon was greeted by an elderly man who was impressed by his sculptures. The old man saw promise in Ryu-Yeon and asked him if he would like to become his disciple. As Ryu-Yeon had nowhere to go and wanted to make the most of his life, he accepted the old man's offer.
I NEVER do reviews, but this manhwa caught my attention, not only is it underrated for such as MASTERPIECE, but no one talks about it. This story showcases beautiful story writing, where the MC doesn't get overpowered, but actually has to face difficulties unlike many other stories. Also the author writing adds comedy, and many other elements so the story doesn't feel repetetive, althought the first couple of chapters are slow, once you get into the plot you WILL be hooked. I'm not too concered about the art as long as its average, but this manhwa art may look like any other manhwas art, but the level of detail put between each pciture is huge, like adding shadows from buildings casting on other objects, overall the art just goes that extra mile which it has no need to go. The characters are AMAZING, each one you will care about, either if its from hatred, to liking them, you will not lose focus on the characters, which is also important since many of the previous characters which are used in a different plot show up, making you remember them, even though they are just side characters. Overall, this manhwa will definitely make you feel an experince you have never felt before, and I think that this story should be given more recognition for the amazing story telling, and capturing you into its develpment, although the story starts off slow, right after the plot kicks in you WILL not be able to stop reading the chapters!
From the beginning, we could actually see a bit of the MC's progress and development unlike other manhwas were we dont see much and suddenly the MC is OP. I also love the humour! Each chapter made me laugh so much!!! lol. The art is actually really pretty and good... its pretty detailed, and it doesnt hurt my eyes unlike other manhwas... The art seems to be in the same par of Volcanic Age. The MC's master is also pretty funny... And I really like how the author made an arc were the MC gets disciples and then teaches them to get stronger... They're is super funny lol. What is higher than the sky? -Master's authority!!!- The higher you look up to, the higher you touch? -Master's grace!!!- What is deeper than the ocean? -Master's love!!!- It seems like the translator is going to drop it because everybody is reading his translations in other ripped sites so thats a problem... I hope this gets picked up again...
I am surprised there's no comedy tag for this! I haven't laughed this much at a manhwa before, the humor is so funny, and overall this story is very enjoyable! I really liked how we got to see the MC grow stronger like he isn't immediately OP but once he grows older, the man is a beast!! I loved this so much, the arcs are so entertaining, especially when he gets the MC gets disciples! Overall such a great read that is criminally underrated, I highly recommend it!!
