Yubi leads the action-packed life of a legendary martial artist on the hunt for her father’s killer. Shinwoo is the aloof teen heartthrob with a heart of gold who’s searching for his leading lady. As heroes of their own respective genres, their destinies are seemingly set in stone. But when their worlds collide in a miraculous twist of fate, the two team up to stray from the paths originally laid out for them. Now, they’ll have to mix tropes of both the action and romance genres to battle assassins, terminal illnesses, and unnecessary love triangles. As they enter each other’s worlds and come to understand the struggles of one another, will these lost protagonists be able to overcome the odds and make it to their happily ever after?
This story is soo funny and I was entertained throughout! The comedy spin on common romance and action troupes was soo well executed that I couldn't breathe by the end of this! The story didn't drag on and the moments are cute. The characters are very fun and unique, yet relatable at the same time. Many scenes will have you screaming what but that just makes this whole story more enjoyable. I like that it's a webtoon on the shorter side as the plot progressed steadily and the character development was wholesome too. I highly reccomend reading this comic for a strong female lead, fun characters and the comedy for a lifetime!
Absolute gold I just so happened to stumble upon this manga while desperately browsing for another strong female lead, and holy moly I was not disappointed in the slightest. The two main leads are essentially supposed to be from two separate "genres" with the male lead being from a shoujo manga and the female lead being from an action manga. As you can imagine, hilarity ensues. I'm a huge fan of comedy and my goodness this just hits the spot; the interactions, the contrast between the "action" and "romance" characters, as well as how certain situations are set up had me wheezing! I love me some good action too and so the female lead whooping almost everyone's asses is highly satisfying. The story's not focussed on being overbearingly romantic at practically any given moment, which I highly appreciate. Oh pleeeease check it out if you haven't already!!
𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐖 >>> This is it, the GEM you have been looking for. Every cliche, every tired trope, all thrown into a blender to give you comedy GOLD. This comic made me laugh the hardest. All the action, humour, and romance is in its right places, and never fails to excite me. and those faces that characters make are hilarious...💎
