Latna Saga: Survival of a Sword King - Reviews

This is one of best i read in a while. The beginning is preaty everage, but as the story goes on, it is getting better and better.

Story stars epic as mc is trapped in hell-like world forced to fight everyday in order to sruvive. We can watch his growth as from averaga guy he became op mc. Because of that next chapter might seem quite dull, but that because mc is free from hell after 20 years, so of course pace gonna slowdonw. But as mc gets more involved in this new world and discovers new powers, the pace of action also increase. So rule in this one is the more you read, the better it gets. It took me over a week to read 90 chapterst, but remaing 50, it was 2 days.

But there are things that you must remember so there is no misunderstanding and after reading some of the reviews i feel it is important to point out.

1. MC is hiding his strength to not get discovered as other-worlder, because WHOLE WORLD is hunting them down.

2. In first chaperts mc might seem weak-minded, but only because he just got out of hell, so what he want the most is some peace and dont want to other people to get involved with him (reason: people involved with other-worlders, even unknowingly, also are hunted donw). He is afraid that we hill have to fight to survive again. 20 years of hell will leave toll on everybody's mind.

Review:

OH GOSH, I SWEAR THIS SH*T IS GOLD. Freaking amazing storytelling and art! It's also danged humurous I almost died laughing. The plot is deep and has evolved, and the fighting scenes are just *mwah*. It's also not just crazy shit killings, but something more intricate and basic at the same time. I LOVE THE BARBARIC portrayal of the MC. He's OP but defective lol and I think that's what made him human.

Synopsis:

Ryu Han Bin was kidnapped into another dimension as a player, but was given a defective guideline. For 22 years, he was stuck killing dog monsters on a newbie area until such time he finally passed going to lvl 5. Now, he needs to survive the new world being an OP level 5 with his handsword and basic stats.

This was so painful after the first few chapters. The MC seemed like a man with a will to live and return home as he makes it though a hell of some divine being making. Yet as soon as he makes it out of that hell the story hands him the idiot stick. He turns from a person with drive and conviction to a scared wimp and a background character in his own story. Every other character takes center stage and continues to keep the spotlight even at the end of the first season. And forget that recomendation from Solo Leveling. If you came to see a hard hitting MC Barbarian man tearing through dungeons to get home from the Isekai then you will be sorely dissapointed. This is konosuba but with less comedy and making everyone else the characters from deadly sins. How this is still running past 138 chapters ill never know.

I had high expectation of this manga or whatever it is.

First, the art. The first 3 ch are free. The art looked so good. But as you read more, you'll realise that the art is horrible now. There are many panels that are so damn lazy. It seems like the authors drew everything really well the first 3 ch to lure people in to buy the other chapters. Also, GORES ARE BLURRED OUT. I didn't pay to see gores blurred out. wtf. 

Next, the story. Though I liked the idea, 9 chapters in and it's slow. Boring. No decent action has happend at all besides him training. The characters also talks too much. Sometimes there was no need for dialouge at all. 

Finally, characters are shit. They are introduced so fast with little backstory. No one is interesting.  Mc is the only character that matters here. 

Verdict: Skip. Don't waste your money. 

It's just so soy. Can't paint an mc as badass and then have them be surrounded by the most softhearted pussies, this argument is probably gonna be invalid since the author is gonna come up with some bullshit in the last second by unlocking a secret power only ubtainable from not killing a human. But I've had enough of the cringe, indecisive, pascifist, weakwilled, stereotypical cast of people. "Hell get addicted" my ass you garbage trap. And then they act like it never happened. It's just bad and infuriating.
