Koi Kaze

If life teaches us anything, it is that love sometimes happens in the most unlikely of places, with the most unlikely of people. Koshiro is a run-of-the-mill salaryman who has recently been dumped by his partner. With his heart broken and hope lost, he soon comes to realize that he can love again, once he sets eyes on a beautiful young schoolgirl riding the train. However, there is one catch -- this girl named Nanoka is his sister, who he has not seen in years. Knowing that their forbidden love will always be scrutinized by society; will Koushirou and Nanoka be able to resist the temptation?

Hmm. Koi Kaze is a rare treat of a manga. It pushes boundaries, but in a realistic bittersweet way. It is hard to not root for Koshiro and Nanoka. However you can feel the confliction they bare in their respective minds about their growing feelings. I have read a few incest themed manga in the past, so I feel quite confident in saying that Koi Kaze has the most plausibility out of the bunch. My only gripe is about the ending. I wished it had been developed more. I can't say anymore without spoiling it. Tehe

Simply put, this is a beautifully written story about a very complicated romance. It handles the subject in a very mature and realistic manner, unlike many Bro x Sis stories, that only strive to excite.
