One night, right after he was dumped by his boyfriend, a pair of underwear came falling down upon Ise’s head. The one who dropped it was a man named Hishimoto, who Ise couldn’t seem to ignore, and they end up working together to bring in the laundry that had fallen onto a tree outside his window. After being told by Hishimoto that he would like to thank him, Ise goes up to his place. There, he is told that Hishimoto has been thinking about him, and had used the fallen laundry as an excuse. Further more, Hishimoto then flirts with him, asking if he’s interested in older men…?!
I waited for a while before reading this because older guys and glasses are not really my thing, and the artstyle is not so typical for manga though fine. but I read it after a while since it had a good score so I was curious. Now I understand why it has good score and I am glad I read it. It is a sweet mature story that deals with real internal and interpersonal struggles that I am sure many people can relate to, in a not overly dramatic way, all while it was not boring either. I felt my heart aching by the insecurites of the characters and then get healed by their relationship. I love stories where the drama is caused by realistic troubles instead of the typical stuff like ex'es, love rivals, jealousy, silly misunderstandings and so on. Yeah, it was a great read and the artstyle grew on me while reading. This is a very sweet story that really warmed my heart and left a smile on my face ❤️
