Knight Under My Heart Manga

Have you ever skipped studying to play video games? Unfortunately for high school senior Yushin Lee, the stakes are a little higher than flunking, as he finds himself trapped in a VR-based MMORPG. Yushin was selected to beta test the game, only to be forced to fight for his life in a seemingly endless loop. What was supposed to be a light distraction from the stress of high-school life becomes a desperate struggle for survival as Yushin battles his way through REAL Online, a dark fantasy world created by a mysterious tech company with uncertain motives.

This manhwa is way more better even for a vr manhwa. The art of this manhwa is fabulous. Artist did a wonderful job of portraying the ongoing war in a magnificient way. The characters are also well writen. But there is a very big problem with pacing of this manhwa. The pacing is very slow. And can become boring for some readers. And the loop part where main cha4acter dies and get's resurrects again at the starting point also get's lame and tedious after a while.

It's a pretty great story that makes you ask a couple questions like: "Why didn't they just kill him irl in his VR pod" and "what are the villains' actual motives" as well as "how could a crush on an NPC ever possibly turn out well" and I'll tell you, the answers either aren't there or are Really Stupid. The last 6-7 chapters ending it were... kinda bad imo. The MC is your typical Shonen protaganist- his main ability is Having an Unrealistically Strong Determination and Willpower to Go Against the Odds. So he grows in strength fast and slowly beats the game. Game itself is pretty short all things considered, it only lasted as many chapters as it did due to loop shenanigans. Resets when he dies. I could not care one whit about any of the side characters, though. I was Not given enough time to get to know them beyond superficially. This said, the art is phenomenal, there are a good few Raw Dialogue moments and I sincerely couldn't put it down. Criticisms aside, I really enjoyed it up until the ending. Felt very... contrived. Tl;dr: if all you want are sick fight scenes and cool lines, this is a 10/10 I chose to believe the True Ending is him going home and getting his butt Grounded by his parents.

Story starts slow. IT BECOMES REALLY GOOD AFTER CHAPTER 15. There are some plot holes like "Why is the bad guy evil"? but spoilers ahead, it's all a game so that doesn't really matter. Very dissapointed in the 40 chapters tho, wish there was more.
