Both series are about a bully and victim meeting up when they're older, and the romance (?) that develops between them. They both deal with some interesting issues, and have similar characters too.

Both stories have an awkward romance that goes beyond the high school setting. There are cute, funny, and awkward moments in each story that keep you coming back to see what happens next.
