Wow. Just from the first four chapters. This story has kept me at the edge of my seat. It's really amazing, and the twist are really imminent. The main character is introduced as a wimp. But just in the first four chapters, he's already has shown sign of development. I really have no idea how it will carry on. But it really is a very good story.

Although I was a little disappointed as to where the story went, I can still appreciate the thought that went into the development of the characters. For me watching the two of them slowly crumble was fascinating. tbh I had no idea that they would fall to pieces like that. I think that this story caused my mental health to decline. And I really like to read horror stories like this and none of them have really impacted me like this one has.

The story is built around the slow moral desensitization of Suzuki Ryuto and how fe's getting used to resorting to violence and threats in order to protect Yoshizaki Kokoa, with the heavy implication that fe is just another guy in a long line of guys connected to Kokoa who have gone down a similar path. Ryuto has come to see femself as Kokoa's protector, but the two stalkers we've encountered so far have both viewed themselves as Kokoa's protectors as well. Kokoa acts pure and nice in front of Ryuto, but we've seen that that might just be a facade and it's not entirely clear how much of Kokoa's sentiments are genuine. All that being said though, I am hesitant to disregard the romantic aspect of this manga. I prefer to see this as a tragic romance with psychological/darkly mysterious undercurrents, as opposed to something more nefarious where the romance is purely a ruse.

I appreciate the brief daydreams showing what Ryuto wants to do, but what fe is holding back from doing.

Addendum: This story is depressing and disturbing. And the last couple chapters, even though they do a great job of portraying Kokoa's mental state, do give off a bit of a victim-blaming type of vibe. But, that said, it does also give some broader context to what led to Kokoa's behavior, which made it feel less like it's individualistically blaming Kokoa and more like it's pointing to how interconnected human society is and how negativity and loneliness can spread and lead to more negativity and loneliness in others.

{CONTAINS MINOR SPOILERS}

The story was good at first.. but the rest of it was a mess. It seems like the Author didn't have a plan and just threw things around.  As for the ending... it was really anticlimactic.  6/10

Plain guy meets cute girl, then all hell breaks loose. Now he's mentally ill, the girl ain't normal either, they kill people, start world war three, bomb mars, sprinkle little bit of incest, the world ends, people now live in another solar system, demon king invades, protagonist is regressed/reincarnated and given cheat skill in an otome isekai, has huge harem, idk where I'm going with this tbh.
