** FEW SPOILERS **It was getting interesting that the main character Mason (uke) got shot by one of his crew and was switched to the body of a drugged up Hollywood actor Haley who attempted suicide. Thanks to Masons chad personality, he actually made Haley into a likeable person , especially trying to get away from his psycho extended family members who made poor Haley give them money. At first, I did like Noah and Masons relationship and was looking forward to them finally confessing their love. However that came to a end with Noah (seme) doing a disgusting thing to Mason at chap 28-29. I sympathise that he was kidnapped as a child and Mason saved him from his kidnapper but that was the direction I effing hate when it comes to Yaoi especially! Tbh I am pretty peed off that I thought I was reading a pretty decent BL but it hit bottom which is disappointing to say the least……

I have a soft spot for this, despite the issues. Mostly because Mason (MC) is a fantastically entertaining and badass MC. So if you are tired of reading stories where only the top gets to be the cool one, this is for you. He's veteran mercenary, who is given a second chance at life and decides to make the best of it. And he is 100% the best part of the story too. Main issue: the non-con scenes were annoying and unnecessary. The reincarnation of an older, protective bodyguard into the body of a young gay sex addict is a really entertaining premise, and this manga definitely shines when it focuses on Mason at the movie set and doing his thing. However there are some rough spots: Noah is rather flat and predictable, the smut scenes are almost all non-con, and the "antagonist" dangers felt rather contrived.But overall as someone who is biased towards badass and competent MC's, I'm glad I found this one. If you'd like some reasonings for the rough spots, I've put it below. (reviewed after full story)(I've kept it general, but spoilers could be inferred from here on) Non-con: sexual coercion that isn't portrayed as trauma is already enough to make me drop a story usually, but ontop of that you just feel extra awful for the MC who doesn't want to fight back and hurt Noah, he's dealing with these new homosexual urges, in a different mans body, etc etc. Just stop harrasing Mason and let him open his damn coffee shop xD I feel like this is a BL that would have been leagues better as a shounen-ai rather then a yaoi haha Noah: I do like how unconventionally unredeemable Noah is, and they clearly show he's dealing with an undisclosed mental illness that he's taking medication for. Unfortunately he is portrayed as rather flat and predictable, have almost no features other then 1. Being an asshole 2. Adoring Mason 3. Being completely off his rocker. Like did he not once ponder how he would feel if "Haley" really was Mason. A man 10 years older them him that he loves dearly. ...And he's been slapping, insulting and sexually harassing this poor guy?! Acceptable! If Noah had some character development from this, and they actually talk to each other like normal human beings lol, but so far we don't have this. He doesn't have any development though :( Antagonist: It boils down to the fact that if even 1 of these 3 had their head on straight there would be no issue; If Noah just used his brain for a moment and didn't put himself (and therefore Mason whom he should want to avoid hurting) in danger it would've been fine. Ontop of that if the security teams, bodyguards (and god knows what else) did their jobs for once - it also would have been fine. Further compounding, if Mason himself had kept his cool instead of panicking whenever Noah is involved, the situations also could have been resolved peacefully. (bonus) Even worse, the danger only happens because the antagonists *themselves* are complete idiots to begin with. The fact that literally everyone had to do a mental face-plant just for a dangerous situation to happen is a bit silly. But despite how long this section is, this actually isn't that much of a bother to read. It successfully sets up a tense and dangerous situation for our characters and I am glad it happens, I just wish the lead up could have been a bit more thoughtfully done.

Three words: Dirty talk kink! The is a relatively simple story is about two characters, Haley (an actor with a trashy/slutty reputation) and Noah (a well-known popular celebrity). However, when mercernary Mason Taylor transmigrates into Haley one day, everyone is beside themselves trying to understand what caused Haley to change so drastically. I found this aspect of the story quite entertaining because of how the new Haley constantly subverts everyone's expectations. Among them is ofc, Noah, who feels that the new Haley reminds him of someone he has admired for a long time. We gradually uncover hidden secrets about the two's past as we progress in the story. I personally really liked the eye candy and Noah's dirty talk, just because we don't usually get this sort of dynamic often. It awakened something in me 💀. Haley is so pretty and Noah looks like an angel!! However, their dynamic as a couple may not be for everyone. I've read the novel so spoilers are ahead. . . . It feels like Mason/Haley seems bewildered or cautious at the sight of Noah. To him, Noah's a kid he saved years ago. So even w Noah's proactiveness (ahem, wink), it sometimes feels like Mason/Haley is simply indulging Noah's puppy love. But dont get me wrong, they both seem to enjoy themselves in their ~ R-19 scenes ~ If I were to put it into words, their visual dynamic looks like a slutty pretty bottom x handsome DOM top. but with the added transmigration aspect, it's like an older indulging bottom x puppy love yandere-ish top xD The art in this series is absolute eyecandy and I would recommend it for those looking for a simple plot + kinky read.
