In a game-like world where dungeons, monsters, and players appear. In that world, only I knew the truth. “Let’s save the world together. Let’s put an end to this game.” The secret that the man who’s idolized as the “Messiah who will save the world” is actually trying to rule it as its emperor. Only I, who experienced his betrayal. I, who was murdered by him and returned to the past, know the truth.
the ending was awful... and it was like the author kept coming up with new things because he had nothing else to write about and the plot holes!! The beginning was good and descriptive and the end was so fucking rushed it is crazy. Yet I still read the whole thing because I have nothing else to do.
A bit too messy for my taste.I was following the novel and dropped it. The story is a big mess.I can usually easily get over plotholes, they happen, it's normal for webnovels because they usually get longer depending on popularity, undependant of the will of the author. The thing is, this novel definitely wasn't planned enough. Multiples back and forth, rules of the world being easily broken, and more... We keep being thrown left and right by the author and not in a good or gentle way. I did enjoy it at the beginning, and I haven't often seen, in reincarnation setting, the main character so set on revenge, as they usually try to solve everything on their own instead of allowing their selfish desires to bloom. Here, revenge is the one and only goal and the MC will not let it go. But that's it. There isn't any compelling story-telling or side-character or plot-line that I would want to see resolved to keep me reading. So I dropped it. I urge you to make your own judgment on this novel and the associated webtoon tho, as everyone has different tastes and views (thanksfully). It did get adapted in a webtoon so the team working on the webtoon (which by the way, changed quite a bit when compared to the novel), might have more informations on the plot and try to fill the plotholes left in the novel. All in all, maybe start by the webtoon, and come around if you want to know where the story started.
