Not a bad story about two fellows meeting up on a matched date. I like the fact the relationship was steady then them just jump right onto the next stage! Although there was a little misunderstanding but both Bois understood each other so yeah again, the story is good enough!

They dated for the sole purpose of marriage. One: because they were lonely and Two: because they were getting old. The one friend that was already married, cemented the idea that the were pressured into wanting get married. Considering how many times he kept trying to rush them to do so, I couldn't think of anything else.  One instance that made me uncomfortable was how dark haired guy antagonized Bi people due to his experience of one Bi person he dated. I'm annoyed cuz I see it a lot in this genre. Another instance was Blonde guy not having the courtesy to discuss his sexuality when dark haired guy had brought up his fears, preferences (despite how flawed), and His experiences that shaped that. It really did not shape up any foundation of trust for people that desperately wanted to get married. But it was skirted over it like dark haired dudes trauma was virtually nonexistent.  Lastly; they settled. The pressure and desperation of having to be with someone for the rest of their lives outweighed any romance. I'm not saying they didn't like each other. They did. Their like was expressed in the same manner as trying something new at a restaurant and not finding it unpleasant. They were ok with the meal and settled to have that same meal for the rest of their foreseeable future.  Also they skipped the wedding.

This title is pretty much what I've been looking for in yaoi titles for a long time. It doesn't have rape, age gap, nor any type of abuse. The body of the main character isn't that different from his love interest, which is also good. Even the art isn't that bad (characters don't really have what I call a "frog mouth" that is commonly seen in yaoi titles. Like Junjou Romantica), if it wasn't for the biiig hands, it would have been all okay with it. It's a cute short story. It's only about a man who's looking for love in a scenario that being gay is easier than it usually is in real life. That was one of the things that made me enjoy it; no angst to entertain those who are outside this world, just a sweet story of a guy dating another guy, with an adorable couple of married (as much as possible in today's Japan) friends. My only issues with this was the somewhat biphobic opinions of the main character. It SEEMS to have changed at the last chapter but I'm not even sure. There's also the fact that even thought the main character said he was fine with a sexless life, it seemed to me that he was kinda pressuring his almost-boyfriend to have sex. This is a general issue I have with any genre to be honest; the importance they give sex. But I'm glad it was soft and lovely. I enjoyed it. I'm giving it a 8 out of 10. It was worth the reading, for sure.
