Depending on your mood, this comic could either be aggravating or sorta funny in how long its prolonging Beryl's self-depreciation and irrecognition of how strong fe is. There's at least one point where Beryl actively stops femself from acknowledging feir own outstanding capabilities and instead insists on maintaining the talking point that it's the disciples alone who are worthy of praise. I dunno. Other than that silliness, there's also a harem aspect--which isn't done in all that interesting of a manner--as well as some decent fight scenes. The art quality is pretty bad, in my opinion, and the story itself is mediocre at best. I did find reading this somewhat entertaining, but I also recognize that the entertainment value is surface-level and that this manga is actually pretty empty of value and possibly deserving of a worse score than what I gave it. But for now, I'll leave it at this score. [Reviewed at chapter 10]

It all starts with students helping the MC get the spotlight he'll never acknowledge he deserves, when really he's actually THAT big of a deal. The part we need to keep an eye on this manga is the Swordplay of it, it's beautiful and very well thought. The details and how such simplicity of MC's actions could overpower against inhuman talents who wields Herculean Strength, Martery over Magic, or Serpent-like Flexibility. Sword Saint mangas has me thinking about op cultivations or powerful one-shots, but personally I believe this manga AND it's MC has such mastery over basics that's completely deserving of a "Master Swordsman." Reason I give characters a 6/10 is cuz it's your usual "teen Girls in love with old men" kind of kinks that Japs commonly have. Aside the "admiration" for the MC, each characters have their own commendable sets of strengths and skills that can be showcased, but MC's "depth" of his own skills is something we have yet to look forward to in the future chapters
