Just recently read this manga. It's tale about Hyakkaou high school where the prestige of student determined by their skill in gambling. Here, the student who lose in gambling treated as a pet by the other student. Furthermore, some student who couldn't pay the debt will lose their freedom to arrange their future which mean their life would be arranged by the authorities (student council-sc). It's including which school they would attend after graduate, where they would work, even the partner of marriage arranged by sc.. Sc has absolute power here.
This manga so interesting, which each chapter. showed us variety of gambling game. Furthermore, the gambling game solved just not by pure luck but also by the gambler's strategies (such as cheat or self defend from being cheated). The char also have unique characteristic, for example the heroin who addicted by gamble (maniac) and always get excited where she is in dire situation.
