One day, on one of his hunting trips, Prince Siegfried sees a band of swans resting peacefully in the lake. One particular swan captures his attention, because it’s wearing a crown and stares at him just like a human. Siegfried is mesmerized and follows the swan all the way to some ruins, where the pretty swan suddenly transforms into a beautiful lady. The beautiful lady turns out to be Princess Odette, who was put under a cruel spell by the evil wizard Rothbart; and it is this spell that makes her turn into a swan every day, regaining her true human form only when the moon shines upon the lake. The only thing that can break the spell is the unconditional love of a man for her, which Siegfried is eager to give, but things aren’t as easy as they seem.

An out of commission satellite picks up a lovelorn ballad on her radio antenna and descends to Earth to find the source of such sincere emotions. But on the way she is caught in the crossfire of a raging magical battle and is transformed into Satellite Girl, complete with Astro Boy-like rocket shoes and weapon-firing limbs. Meanwhile, the balladeer in question – a loser 20 something at a café open mic – meets the fate that befalls all broken-hearted lovers: he is turned into a farm animal. But love knows no bounds, and aided by the wise and powerful Merlin – a wizard who has been turned into a roll of toilet paper – our duo must evade the all-consuming incinerator monster, the wily pig witch, and other nefarious adversaries in an attempt to be together.

Embedded within the tree are unfamiliar buildings which prompt Yoyo to explore these strange constructions. During her scout, Yoyo unintentionally ends up thrown into modern day Japan. While trying to figure out what is going on, Yoyo ends making a deal with a family to decurse their recently cursed parents..
