Joseon's Ban on Marriage

This is by far one of the best manhwas I have ever read. Although there are many cliches, one could tell that this was still a work of art amidst the number of similarities. Our female lead is a marriage swindler during an era of Joseon where marriage is banned due to the King refusing to marry anyone else after the death of his fiance seven years ago. In a twist of fate, misfortune, and destiny, the tangled knots can still be untangled and tied once more as the three leading characters (the FL and the two MLs) meet once again.  The key-point of this story is when she goes through a series of pathological lying which eventually ends her up in a position of being a spiritual master who could apparently be "possessed" by the King's deceased love who he cherishes enough to reject other women despite the pleas of the people in Hanyang. This predicament leads our FL to continue lying in an attempt to heal the King's broken heart and survive. Both MLs refuse to marry other women for the sake of their beloved who had vanished at the same time seven years ago - and she comes to them like the calm after their heartaching storm. But at the same time, she finds out that the second ML is actually her betrothed from the past who has been searching for her since she had vanished. "If there is a will, there's a way." is what she keeps telling herself as she continues her lies and deceit.

Man this is fkn frustrating. Both the MLs are so hot ughhhhh wish this was tagged as polygamy. It's honestly so heartbreaking that only one of them ends up w Sorang. Why Sorang gotta be such a rizz god. Damn i'll take her leftovers please. (ಥ﹏ಥ)

 It's not even that bad. It's actually a good story with good art, I only dropped it because I genuinely believe that the FL shouldn't have ended up with the guy she did end up. So this is just the bias review from a woman whose ship didn't sail. It's pretty interesting and kinda funny, and I actually highly recommend this story.
