The year is 1999. It has been ten years since the death of Dio, but his presence sticks with many of his former followers, including Hol Horse, who is a mercenary/freelancer. Operating from Egypt, Hol Horse is asked by an elderly woman to find her lost parrot, which was trained by the previous owner of Pet Shop, and is therefore believed to also have a stand. After teaming up with Boingo, an angsty young man in possession of the prophetic book Thoth, he discovers the location of the parrot; the small Japanese town of Morioh.
