Quite basic as far as the plot goes, childhood best friends pining for each other thinking it's unrequited, lots of miscommunication. I read through it because it was quite short, tbh if it was any longer than this I would've lost interest fairly quickly.

Short and sweet, I've Become an Omega Today is good for those looking for quick-read A/B/O manga. That said, the characters do almost nothing but miscommunicate in this 4.5 chapter story, so if you're not a fan of that trope, this is an easy skip. Best friends forever, this Alpha-Beta pair's dynamic quickly changes when the beta turns out to be a late-blooming Omega instead, throwing their friendship (and secret interest in one another) for a loop. The vibe is cute, but it left me wanting to shake them both and say "OMG talk already," which might be fine in a 50-chapter story and was mostly annoying in a 5-chapter one.
