Tenjou Yuuya has been a bullied boy since the past. He lives in the home of his beloved grandfather while he goes to school. As usual, he receives a harsh bullying, and he takes an extended absence from school to have some time to heal his wounds. While on this long time of absence, he takes the opportunity to clean his grandfather’s house and goes to a room he never went before, where his grandfather keep many different objects that he gathered from his travels around the world. While he was arranging the objects, he found a door not on a wall among the objects. Out of curiosity he opens this door, what he found on the other side was…
This is a fine example of why I never trust reviews. This is pure wish fullfilment power up fantasy taken to the extreme. Obese bullied dude magically becomes thin, tall and handsome, literally. His body just changes. And now he's OP with all the op skills, items, you name it, he's basically a god. Oh and he can go back and forth between isekai world and real world but the author seemed to have used the isekai as an excuse to make him OP and then bring him back to the real world to show off. This is very low tier isekai fantasy. He's captain save a random girl. And all these girls just fawn over him because he has that sweet strong male scent you know, the scent of an MC. This is trash, there's no other words to describe it. If it was just a slice of life it would habe been okay but they decided to add the fantasy element and that's were I draw the line. Don't use fantsay as an excuse to further you bull crap plot.
This is a spoiler-free review. well. there are some but not big enough for you to not enjoy the manga afterwords 1st Update after 7 chapters.I genuinely like this story. I just love how the mc is still being humble after all of that. It seems promising but there seems to be a lot of plot holes here and there. So far with the limited amount of chapters, it seems like another girl is introduced every single chapter. I know this seems like a harem but at least make the meeting casual and not forced.Story: 7 Art: 7 Character: 9 Overall: 7.6 2nd Update after 8th chapter.I read the LN after every chapter to the same point it ends, and I guess this is kind of accurate. As an adaptation, it is good, as a story, that's a different story. I hate the usual blushing after the first meeting trope and that is exactly what is happening in this chapter. It seems like the artist is trying their best to accentuate the Main Character's charm and "coolness." At this point, it seems repetitive despite the low chapter count.Story: 6.5 Art: 7 Character: 9 Overall: 7.5
I'll have to agree with CapitaineOtaku on this. This manga very desperately reeks of main character. Name any single cliché about an Isekai. By the time you're done reading this you'll have crossed over most of them. The author tries to make the main character unique, but fails so horribly by making him overpowered. And why the going back to Earth stuff? Overall it's cliche, cliche, and cliche.
