Somehow, before the appearance of the female lead, I became the male lead’s temporary wife. Since things had already turned out this way, I decided to try my very best. However…
I really really love this one, it's funny and the art is fun and different. The fl, Dylan isn't your classic shojo protagonist nor is she excessively violent, scared, obsessed with being a villainess, or hung up on "NOt cHaNGinG tHe OrIginAl sTorY" She's just a lady who wants to help her younger sister and knows that her situation is probably temporary. The ml, Cedric, is somewhat similar in terms not being any extreme, he isn't cold but he isn't clingy either he respects the fl and isn't being excessively kind, he's also not pulling a ceo esq " I'm gonna be super rude to you but I'll also shower you in the stuffs hahaha love me" -thing ( gosh I really hate that lol) he doesn't chase her around nor is he possessive of her. He's just a normal person who wants to please his grandfather before it's too late. Neither of them have a secret crush type of thing ( yet anyway) they're just two married individuals with out some weird divorce in a year/marriage of Convenience/"bUt ThE ReAl FeMaLe LeAD iS coMmiNg" -contract thing. In conclusion this one really mixes things up and I'm quite enjoying it.
You looking for a healthy relationship between a villainess and the duke she fake married? You’ve come to the right place! Dylan and Cedric have so much posititve chemistry together I literally couldn’t stop reading. This breaks so many stereyotypes which is such a fresh breath of air that I adore. If anyone wants a summary: Dylan, our villainess, is the older sister of Emily, which is the male lead, Cedrics, former wife. In the original vn, emily had a frail body and died in the proccess of giving birth to a stillborn. Knowing this, Dylan makes it her goal to steer Cedric away from Emily at all costs. However, hijinks ensues and she’s found herself taking her sisters place as Cedrics wife. And there’s no actual way to get out of their marriage because Cedrics grandfather is completely on board, and you know how hard it is to let an old man down. So, Dylan makes a proposal: If she falls in love with Cedric before a year is up, she’ll continue being his wife. If not, they’ll both agree to dissolve their marriage. Yeah, i think we all know where this is going. Needless to say, these two go about as well together as pb and j, you’d think they werent faking their marriage for a year. Highly reccomended for those who are looking for a sweet romcom void of the usual angst and constant looming of royal politics and etc
A sweet and hilarious story. The perfect amount of comedy, drama, and relationship development. The art isn't perfect, but it's good. The characters are an utter joy to read about, they're all so interesting and unique. I really like both the female and male lead a lot, they're such great characters. I was a bit hesitant to start reading it since it didn't seem like my kind of story from the cover art and the summary, but those give off a different vibe from the current story? Anyways, I really like this and recommend it.
