Inugami Expert is horrible, made up of nothing but gore for the sake of gore. As I know nothing as terrible I'll instead recommend some GOOD horror titles.

Uzumaki is creepy and horrific, with a bit of explicit content but still on the creepy end. It reminded me a little of Inugami Expert, but is way, way better. Definitely try it out.

The Drifting Classroom

The Drifting Classroom

On a day like any other day, Shou, his classmates and the entire elementary school were mysteriously transported to a barren wasteland filled with terror. There's no food or water, nothing in sight but an endless desert in all directions, and both the students and teachers are so terrified that they are rioting, murdering, and falling victim to their fears. With no idea of how they got there or how they'll survive, these students must work together and set forth into the unknown to discover the truth of their circumstances.

Drifting Classroom doesn't have a similar premise, but if you liked the 'wow, this is messed up' elements of Inugami Expert, try out the master (but a master that doesn't have ONLY explicit content for explicit content's sake). DC is one of my favorites in the horror genre and I can't imagine why you wouldn't like it too over Inugami Expert.

Gyo

Gyo

Okinawa was the first affected; swarms of fish with spindly legs rose from the sea, carrying with them an overpowering stench of death. Kaori and Tadashi find themselves in the midst of the incident and quickly travel to Tokyo to ask for Tadashi's scientist uncle's help - but even Tokyo isn't safe for long, and sea creatures aren't the only beings affected by the horror...

Gyo is another horror title with lots of creepy explicit content but a much more interesting story and idea. Definitely try it on for size.

Youkai Hunter: Yami no Kyakujin

Youkai Hunter: Yami no Kyakujin

Hieda-sensei is a professor of archeology, with a fervent belief in the existence and power of supernatural creatures such as gods and demons. Since he can't prove anything, his belief has earned him the mocking nickname Youkai Hunter from his colleagues. One day, two men from Ootori-chou come to visit him. They're planning to promote tourism by reviving their town's old, traditional Demon Festival, which was discontinued a century ago. They're basing the festival on Hieda's research, although they're changing a few details to make it flashier for modern sightseers. Although Hieda is troubled by the history of human death associated with the festival, he agrees to attend as an advisor. When the Demon Festival turns out to be much more historically accurate than anyone ever dreamed, it will take all of Hieda's knowledge and courage to help set things right!
