Insomniacs After School - Reviews

TL;DR - Holy shit this is really wholesome and cute and good.

There is a lot of cute and wholesome manga out there, but this one is masterful in pacing the story and character development. Characters are all lovable and relatable - you definitely get attached.

I started reading this out of curiosity because I enjoyed one of the magaka's other works, Neko no Otera no Chion-san. That one was also wholesome and cute, but it was way too slow. There were a lot of chapters where nothing really happened and no relationships or character development progressed.

This one keeps all the best parts of Chion - beautiful art, cuteness, subtlety, wholesome love, feelings, etc. - while addressing the problem with pacing.

Super good read - if you like romance manga and/or slice of life, you won't regret reading this one.
