I was reading this at first just to kill time but before I notice I was pulled in The only way I can properly discribe this is a dumpster fire...in a good way. The story has a very fast pace as things just occur one after the other. The Female lead is very determine person but there are times were you wonder how far is she willing to go to get her way, there are times i trully felt sorry for the Male Lead even if he is a jerk most of the time. I will say this may not be for everyone as it has some mature themes. I did enjoyed it alot, it constantly kept me on edge.
This was rated shockingly low, which prevented me from reading this manhwa for a long time. But, I found that it's actually really good. The characters have their own motives and are driven towards them, and are often selfish and manipulative in the first few chapters at least. Honestly, this makes it much more interesting. The drama created is well made, not pointlessly, but you do have to keep in mind that this is a drama, so there's always some miscommunication... but even then, considering that this also about nobles, it's not all that unbelievable. The characters are given depth. They have their own motives and desires and aren't morally righteous like characters in other manga/manhwa. It's honestly refreshing and I personally prefer more manipulative characters. There is no hero, there are a lot of grey areas. This was a very enjoyable read. If you like healthy romances, no NTR (tbh I wouldn't really classify this to fit in NTR or cheating), then don't read this. But if you like drama and morally ambiguous characters, then go ahead.
I have to agree with the other reviewers on here that I avoided this initially because the rating was low but I have actually enjoyed it so much more than a lot of the other stories have read. The characters are human, they have questionable morals and their motives are vain and self-serving, just like most people. I appreciated the fact that they are flawed. This is not a picture perfect romance but instead felt like something more real and I likd that a lot.
