At the writing of this review: Manhua status: in progress (?) | Chapters released: 80 | Chapters read: 71 | Spoilers: No Premise: In this manhua they will be present in almost all of the work: bullying, physical and emotional violence and relationships that are not entirely rosy. So if you are sensitive to these issues, it is not that I don't advise you to read it, but I can understand why you may not like it, but if these themes do not "upset you", you will find an excellent manhua thriller with some touch of psychology. Story: 8/10 The main protagonist on which all the events revolve is Jiang Wanshu, university student of chemistry, "amateur" author of the novel: "Mr. Passek”, starring a serial killer. Unfortunately, Wanshu's life is anything but calm, given the constant situations where she is bullied both by her family, but above all by her fellow students; where she is constantly being targeted for whatever she does. Everything changes when she makes the acquaintance of Ren Pingsheng, the new teacher of the art faculty, of whom Jiang is infatuated at first sight. From that moment on, Jiang, thanks to that “chance encounter”, believes she has found her "light", but she doesn't know that that encounter is anything but intended by fate. Art: 7/10 The drawings are very clean and this use of very light and clear, almost faded color is very noticeable. I must admit that at the beginning of reading the first chapters, this style did not really appeal to me, but as the story went on, I found it almost spot on... it is also possible that after 70 chapters, I am used to it xD. Characters: 8/10 What can I say, the characters are written so well for the character they have, even those who are right in the end, you start to dislike; where you only want to see the two protagonists do what they want without the others getting in the way. I found some characters so hateful that in the end... ("No Spoiler" review so you'll have to find out ^ω^ ) Overall: 8/10 When I started reading this manhua, I didn't intend to continue it, although at one point I had a "feeling" that was telling to my brain to give it a chance to see how it would develop... and here I am, at chapter 71, waiting patiently for the translation of chapter 72 to come out. Reading the comments on the official Chinese site, it is "said" that there could be a second season just in case the popularity grows, but take this rumor with a grain of salt, even if the same site does not give it as concluded... however, I wouldn't mind. Not knowing yet if this manhua will continue with a sequel or not, this vote is to be considered provisional.
