I'm All Out of Health! - Reviews

At first, it started off quite cliche (I LOLed when I saw the black-haired red-eyed ML). But as I read on, it was so much more than a cliche. The FL is strong in an internal way. The ML is stereotypically cold, but at least he's consistently cold and doesn't give special treatment to the FL until chapter 14, which makes him seem like a more realistic character. I loved seeing them gradually warm up to each other. At chapter 27, there's almost no romance, but the author has built their dynamic over time well enough that I find them adorable together.

I'm giving this a higher rating than my initial impression partly because of the well-paced progression, and partly because of the touching father-daughter relationship. I kid you not, I cried at chapters 19 and 27 because of how heart-warming it was. Every time the father calls her "my baby", (in a non-romantic way, if any of your dark minds are wandering) tears well up in my eyes. I could really feel the love and longing he holds for her, his precious child. The relationship is arguably one of the most touching father-daughter relationships I've ever read in this genre. The progression, the pacing, the situation, the look into each character's thoughts, the flashbacks, the words, details,... all build up to create this heart-wrenching but heart-warming father-daughter relationship with a lot of depth.

Some things I didn't enjoy too much: ML's quite generic. His redeeming qualities are that he communicates straight-to-the-point, shows emotions, is moral, and loves his father, which we don't see often in these OP cold ML types. The plot also is a teeny tiny bit boring sometimes, like not much happens for a few chapters except for FL trying to eat healthier food and exercise with the care of ML, but I got to understand FL's personality and see FL and ML's relationship build up more so it's fine.

The art is really good, with some rare, slightly inaccurate face-to-facial-features angle. The color is amazing. I especially like the details to FL's eyelashes.

Read it for a good story with beautiful relationships. Also, it's from the same author who wrote, "The Evil Lady's Hero"/"Villainess in Love", so it's likely the story will continue to be well-written and the relationships will be healthy & supportive.

Most of the female leads for this genre are often considered strong and independent. But what specific qualities must they have to be considered as such? Is it an eye for sizing up potential allies and enemies? Is it having a personality that can fight back against the most overbearing noble? Is it the ability to wield either weapons or magic or words gracefully?

Can you be considered as a strong female lead if you have little to no health to do any of those? 

I Have No Health is an interesting manga simply because it presents a unique premise - what if you reincarnate into a body that is absolutely useless in everything that could help you survive? The female lead suffers daily from body pains and could barely move from her bed. She has a will to live but her body is stricken from birth, forcing her to take in medicine on the double just to be able to breathe easily. A cursed life that would drive most to their knees in frustration and pain - but not her.

She doubles down and tries to improve her condition, much to the chagrin of everyone around her, by pushing herself to get better at a faster rate. The FL is aided by the male lead, who interestingly is disgusted with sick people and thus distances himself from her. I mean, he still keeps it professional but you can't hide the disgust in his eyes. 

With that set up in place, the manga kept me in suspense. How will these two fall in love? Will she overcome her debuffs and survive to see the novel's story change? Why are there so many people set on killing her?

I haven't read this long enough to come up with a more cohesive review but I'll update this once there are more chapters!

I don't know , i just got bored. Art is good but starting is kinda boring.

The story pacing was quite slow especially the romance part..finally fml love confession was shown in season 2. It was quite a drag but it was worth it..overall i do understand why the romance was dragged due to ml's phobia and trauma past... Love to see fl has strong will to survive despite her frail health and not some sort of weak hearted character..

Story overall was worth reading..

P/S: Really wish author-nim could have drawn more of their kissing scenes..instead of skipping it.. hahaha..

I read so many of these historical manga I thought this was too, another cliche

First of all this manga is very original in humor

the art is great, the characters are drawn beautifully, ML and daddy are both HOT and FL is gorgeous

Love how you have a plot where FL is in a weak body in default AND actually struggle in every day activities. Other manga you read FL is weak but NOT that weak haha 

But you won't need to feel sorry for FL because she is strong willed and she has ML

I usually only like to read STRONG fl plot but this one was refreshing
