These are the absolute best hilarious historical manhwas with absolutely amazing FLs and lovable MLs. "Don't lay a hand on my bro" is more crackfic than "Beware the villainess", but they still both bring great laughs with highly enjoyable plotlines. They're similar but still different that you don't feel like you're reading the same thing.

44star 44star says...

both are hilarious with amazing strong FL leads that chose a different path than the original plot of the novel

Nicolle007 Nicolle007 says...

Es muy divertido, cuando lo leí me daba mucha risa, es mi lista número uno cómicos, me encantó, lo recomiendo principalmente si quieren reírse y si le gusta mas que toda el matriarcado o mujeres fuertes como protagonista.

sguags sguags says...

I genuinely laughed out loud at both of these. FL tells all the annoying fish to get lost, then goes around trying to not absolutely lose it regarding the romance fantasy cliches. Middle fingers and sarcasm. I want to hang out with them and swap dating horror stories.

DoomCakes DoomCakes says...

They are both highly chaotic and energetic leads, following their own rules while still loving the people around them.

AviothicNyctophylia AviothicNyctophylia says...

in both cases,

  • fl is badass
  • fl is rencarnated
  • full of humour and comedy
  • characters are funny
  • no sml (second male lead) syndrome
  • quality time spent
  • must read

Miss Not-So Sidekick

Miss Not-So Sidekick

Hyejung loved to read to escape her daily stress. But that’s before she woke up inside the bizarre world of her favorite novel! Instead of the main heroine who courts three eligible men, she is now Latte Ectrie – a minor villain that everyone hates?! One way or another, it’s a chance to live out her most beloved storyline, with popcorn in hand to watch all the drama! Taking charge of the narrative takes on a whole new meaning!

I believe these two share similar qualities such as having an art style that makes it easy to make memes out of certain scenes and having main characters crazy enough to provide energy from a pov like narration.

But different enough that it wont seem like similar stories. Miss not so sidekick has a more passive progression as the mc is literally a side character of the original novel, basically she goes with the flow. Touch my bro  u dead main character on the other hand takes the reins of the story, she doesnt give two shit on following a novel or predetermined path.

upsidepenguin upsidepenguin says...

The parody humour is kind of the same, though Miss Not So Sidekick does focus on romance more than in Touch My Little Brother and You're Dead. They are both so funny

DemonKingOfSalvation DemonKingOfSalvation says...

they both are very caotic main charachters                                                                                                                 :)

While Side Character Deserve Love is more of fan girling tipe of comedy so it has a lot of romance per say, Touch My Brother and Youre Dead has little romance sprinkled here and there and is more on the adventure/action side. Both are funny and art styles are quite simmilar. I, personaly, liked Touch my brother more but both have made me laugh like crazy so i would reccomend if you are searching for simmilar tipe of silly comedy.

AthyFairy AthyFairy says...

Similar humor

choatic energy

wiol make you laugh hard

not your average rom com

really good

AnnaCliff AnnaCliff says...

Both has similar  art style and very funny

For plot,  both mc is very impulsive and willing to take crazy  actions to protect her love (side character deserveslove too) or brother (touch my little brother, you are dead)

Male leads are very cute and shy in both which make the mc becomes an active role  when it comes to love relationship!

Let's Hide My Little Brother

Let's Hide My Little Brother

The fate of a girl in a BL novel is a tragic one. Girls are either vaguely helpful, evil, or add nothing to the plot. So what happens when you turn into the older sister of a BL novel protagonist? The older sister who dies a tragic death at the hands of a madman who’s infatuated with your younger brother? You go with your gut instinct: hide him. Hide your brother from everything, especially men, that could harm him and you. That’s the task that Kyla Vesta is set with in this life, and a task that she’s determined to complete.

How to Survive a Romance Fantasy

How to Survive a Romance Fantasy

What would you do if you were reincarnated as one of the main protagonists in the romantic fantasy (“rom-fan”) novel you’ve been reading? Do everything in your power to keep the story on track and save the day to be crowned as empress? Make amends for all the treacherous things your villainous character did to change her fate of demise? Hone your magical powers and valiantly fight for the empire as a dashing imperial crown prince should? Umm, nah. When Yeonghui, Ji-eun, and Cheolsu find themselves in this predicament, they have other plans. Will their choices alter the course of this rom-fan world for good or for worse?

The humour is very similar and all the characters are very likable, however I do find 'How to Survive a Romance Fantasy' is much funnier and overall I enjoyed it more. I loved the concept of 'Touch My Little Brother and You're Dead' however.

The Eccentric Duchess

The Eccentric Duchess

It's your typical otome reincarnation story! But the capture targets are gay and our protagonist isn't the brightest… Oh to be reincarnated as Rhiannon Leavitt, otome game heroine living in the lap of luxury with hot guys at her beck and call…if only this weren’t the BL bootleg starring her naive twin brother, Claus! Rhian, a lonely deadbeat in her past life, must use her gamer knowledge and intuition (or lack thereof) to avoid the game's grisly endings and protect the only family she's ever had.

Both are set on a BL Otome game, where the brother is the MC of the game. The girl becomes the sister of the MC and has to protect him while trying to find her own survival.

The comics are full of comedy and the protagonists aren't quick-witted.
