A martial arts historical series about a peasant turned samurai and caught in the turmoil of the final year of the Edo Period (1868).
Extra story: Inu no Seikatsu (volume 1)
An amazing manga with a breath of fresh air. The story is good and its a breath of fresh air, it takes place in the Edo period I believe and there aren't any problems with the fighting techniques or any other medievel 'stuff'. The story focuses on the one strike one hit squad and everyone inside of it and a bit on the other people. The art is nice, it's a different style than most normal japanese novels, it has this 'rough' feeling in it (really like it), they even show the private parts (blurred out ofc), I did have a problem with recognizing the characters at first but now I got (it's a problem with most mangas for me). All the characters feel real to me, they get stronger, rougher and their personalities change over time. It's a pity that there are only 18 chapters as of 22.06.18, I recommend this manga to all of you japan/medievel loving fans as there weren't any problems with it (im not a japaneses history guy, only european), and to all the people who like swordfighting. Have a great day.
