The story follows a man, who sees no reason to live as nothing is going his way (broke up with girlfriend, lost a job, etc.), he decides to commit suicide.  In which, he writes a suicide note saying something along the lines of "At least, I control death" and guess who gets angry by this?  Death itself!  Death decides to punish this man by offering him a 13 chances of living again, but the twist is that he musn't commit suicide and that all the bodies he will go in will be fated to die.  So when death is at every corner, how will he survive!?   The premise of the story was both unique, enjoyable and beautifully executed. He doesn't undergo change too quickly, though there is stunning character growth, and his character is very realistic.  He doesn't adjust right away, finds himself gaining and losing hope time and time again, and struggles with regrets.  It is beautiful!  It really highlights the cruel injustice the world has whilst reminding us that you can find happiness.  His thoughts/mindset definately changes, naturally, throughout the story.  He isn't perfect in any aspect, he is human.  That is one of the reasons why I enjoy this so much, the main character isn't stupidly over-powered or can always make the 'right' choice, that itself makes seeing what he does next to be interesting and easily addicts me.   The creativity of each life never ceases to amaze me.  Plus the ending was leaving me craving for more, I simply couldn't believe it ended so suddenly.  The main character experiences many things, such as love, regret and happiness so that he can truly appreciate life.  The art is very visually appealing as well, it is fantastic, which is only the many highlights of these stories!  100% Reccommend!

Well what can I say, a really good story. Story: The premise was very compelling and it was interesting to watch the protagonist in the various lives he lived, although I already knew that these lives would die anyway, the way he told you about these characters and their life experiences was really excellent to read there are many introspections and analyzes of how many times people don't appreciate what they have and tend to throw away their life as if it were nothing, perhaps the problem is that not all of them get space, but there are some short lives and others long lives that have more depth, among these my favorites were the little bullied boy, the handsome boy who worked at the cafeteria and the policeman. There is no shortage of twists and turns and sometimes you will feel really saddened by what the protagonist will go through, the only flaw I would find and that sometimes I would have liked to know in detail what had happened after some deaths of the lives he had obtained, which the protagonist only a few times bothered to see and perhaps even the ending which could disappoint some people precisely because it leaves the viewer free interpretation of what happens. Art: the art is nothing special, in fact sometimes it lacked detail which would have served to better highlight some characteristics of some characters, from this point it is a bit disappointing Characters: (there will be spoilers)Yijae CHOI: Very human character I would say, I didn't always agree with what he did or said but this was also the beauty of the character, a failure who had multiple opportunities to redeem himself but didn't always succeed although he did good things too, this is quite a multifaceted character who evolves over time and understands what he really wanted.Death: If you explained to me why she takes the form of a black girl perpetually angry at the world it wouldn't be bad, but I found this character quite insipid, she takes it out on the protagonist for a trivial reason and many times contradicts herself by not respecting that that says:-It says that there is a way to escape every death but this is not totally true, since some deaths were impossible to avoid like the 2nd life where the guy was killed by a sadist where you don't even have time to collect the information about him or the 4th life in which the guy was a magician who had to escape from a cage filled with water all chained up but ends up drowned without any possibility of salvation or even the 9th life in which the protagonist took on the body of a serious killer who would die shortly due to an incurable disease…-It says that once the protagonist escaped the pre-set death she would be free from her punishment, but in her 3rd life in which the protagonist manages to escape suicide in theory she should have overcome that pre-set death and be freed from the sentence of death, although he was later killed for external reasons...-You say that if the protagonist tries to commit suicide he will go through a torment worse than death itself, but the problem is that towards the end the protagonist does it several times and death never punishes him for this transgression...Well, this character didn't make much sense except to give a pretext to the plot. Theme of death: Tackled very well, through the lives lived by the protagonist you end up empathizing with some lives and it makes you meditate on what life itself can actually be, there was a quite impactful scene (Attention really heavy spoilers) in in which the protagonist in his 8th life meets a girl at the café where he worked and ends up bonding with her despite knowing that he would die in some way, the problem is that he hadn't taken into account that the same fate could happen to the girl and the death of that girl who happened before the protagonist was really impactful enough to leave a bad feeling in your mouth about how things went and how sometimes life is really unfair. Conclusion: It's a fairly quick read that will give you enough emotions and reflections during the story of him, I recommend it to everyone because he truly deserves it.
