I love literally everything about this story, I usually do not prefer Manhuas because they always seem to have the same type of artstyle and the unnecessary censorship in certain scenes. But this one had a pretty unique artstyle which was honestly very beautiful and cute! Not to mention how they handled the censorship was literally so creative, it felt like it was an artistic choice rather than a restriction. I thought it would just be a regular cliche plot but I was so wrong 😂 there are so many elements that I absolutely love. Especially the characters! I really like how ML keeps a diary and when he is writing in it we kind of see the recounting of the incidents from ML's POV. It feels so new and fresh since most stories are always from the MC's POV alone. There's also misunderstandings that are funny and cute instead of being annoying and also the fact that both ML & MC are so considerate and sweet to each other. The story doesn't get boring because author creates so manny funny incidents between ML & MC. While reading the story it feels like I'm being fed full spoons of sugar every single chapter. By the end of the story I'm probably gonna die from diabetes. And as I mentioned, the art style is absolutely gorgeous, it's so soft and beautiful (⁠´⁠∩⁠｡⁠•⁠ ⁠ᵕ⁠ ⁠•⁠｡⁠∩⁠`⁠)! I would totally recommend this story ♡d⁠(⁠>⁠ ⁠<⁠)

both the story and the art are very cute. the pacing is very slow and you get a lot of second hand embarrassment. nevertheless, is a happy and sugary story and I would probably recommend it. sadly, I don't know if there's an issue with the translation or it's a problem with the way things are portrayed, but sometimes is hard to fully grasp what's going on (or at least it gets a little confusing). I'm reading the official translation on bilibili comics. also... spoilers ahead! I was kind of disappointed with how things turned out when they finally got together. one night they got drunk, kissed and (kind of) slept together. then they didn't even talk about it, not at all. they just went on as if they're already officially dating and everything was crystal clear. to me that's really weird, considering, for example, that Wei thought Gu was straight, or even the fact that they both had a lot of doubts about a lot of things. also, you just kissed your friend and you both don't even talk about how you're feeling or what you want?! well, I guess it's ok if things just go smoothly and all, but this just makes the story feel really unrealistic and not so appealing to me.
