Literally the worst manhua I've ever read and holy shit is the bar set really god damn low with manhua. However, it is so terrible that it is hilarious, gotta recommend reading the first 30 or so chapters for a good laugh. The fight scene art is easily the worst thing I've seen, dunno how many people can relate to this but it's just funny to see people go flying with art that has no weight behind anything. It's chinese so the female characters are a good gaffe as always and everyone unanimously wants to fuck this one teacher for some reason, horny bastards. Gonna have a stroke trying to figure out why any character says or does anything and the xianxia aspect is confusing as fuck and thrown in too early and haphazardly SPOILERS he literally brings someone back to life with needles and it's like oh you brought someone back from the dead that's not something that is possible with some needles and then end scene powerful family thanking main character as a result ensues but no one outside of that questions what the fuck just happened END SPOILER. I can't find the words right now to explain how shit this is. I love it, it's hilarious, Tales of Demons and Gods is the only "good" thing to ever come out of China go read that if you enjoy this garbage.

I'm getting tired of these stories of strong cultivators at the peak of murim who gets killed by a dagger or a sword wound. If it was that easy to kill them they wouldn't have cultivated for thousands of years but sure for plot convenience a single wound is enough to kill them. And don't talk to me about poison either, at this level of strength they are usually immune or very resistant. I won't even bother about the usual gets betrayed by girlfriend and disciple/best friend. What's more, it's now trendy to make them mortals on Earth with no explanation whatsoever on how they could possibly ascend. Even more, seems like almost everyone they knew were cultivators but somehow they are the only one to ascend because reason. An of course you'll never see them try to get back to get revenge even though they swore they would exact it. It just becomes another story filled with useless drama and bullying. Everyone other than the mc and his family/friends are azzholes who bully and kill for fun. Evevn as a side dish when you're bored it's not worth it.

this is the cliche type of story where the mc is an immortal or something who has lived as an extremely powerfull figure in the immortal realm or whatever. then for some reason he is betrayed and killed/assasinated. but instead of dying he wakes up back in his teenage years where he is weak and bullied, and decides rise back to the top by becoming strong. the story has quite a rocky start. most notably is the fact that everyone seems to have an IQ that scores in the negative (literally, people's logic is the complete inverse of what it should be in their respective situations). however, it does get a lot better around 200 chapters in. the crappy translations improve and the average IQ seems to rise to room temperature. another thing worth mentioning is the dragon in the MC's body. considering the title of the story i thought the dragon would play an important role, and i was quite exited about that before reading but NOPE. (spoilers) if memory serves me right, the dragon (appart from the egg at the start) first appears more than 100 chapters into the story, and after about 500 chapters it has appeared in one form or another around 4 times (none of which was in a particularly important way). this is a huge disappointment for me. - overall, if you like this type of story and want to read more go ahead and give it a shot, it was worth reading in my opinion. however if you're new to this type of story look for another one with similar plot. there are much better ones out there. - this was written at chapter 528
