I disliked this, though I think it was inevitable that I'd think so because I'm not really the target audience. Although I do have personal distate for this type of story in general, I didn't think it was very good anyway.

The characters are rather flat and I didn't find any of them espcially endearing. Ari's main personality trait is being kind and she's not really explored outside her nuturing role to her childern and the demons around her. The art, especially of the female characters, was a bit too sexulized for my taste as well.

I thought that it was a little strange that they made the main character, who's main role is to be a mother, sixteen years old right after her mother, her only fmaily member, died. Baby fever is a thing, but she really just wished for a family as a teen while still greving her mother's death, and boom, suddenly pops out ten children with a who-knows-how old demon.

I also really don't like babies so all the "cute" children just distanced me further.

The plot is incredibly straightforward and cliche- humans at war with demons and a person is summoned to help deal with the problem, albeit, not in humanity's favor.

Akari as a main character is a pretty one dimensional character whose personality and role is the story can be summed up as 'Cute emotional girl who wants to protect her friends but is weak.'

However, the main pull of the manga isn't the story itself nor the characters or literally much of anything else that most people would consume media for.

Its stupid and its fun. This manga is stupid and you're not suppose to put too much thought into it, its like overexplaining a joke. The whole punchline of the show is the main character becoming pregnant through every other means except sex itself and rapidly pumping out cutely chaotic demon babies. Its not exactly high class. But its something you can mindlessly watch while enjoying the visuals of a cute girl with equally cute babies ending up in absurd scenarios. Who, of course, end up getting saved by some hot guys or the babies themselves stepping up to protect their mama.

There is plot and there are characters,  but they're both just there to help shove down the cuteness and strange comedy.  They're not the main focus here. There is some potential of both becoming more relevent thanks to some light world building and foreshadowing - but I doubt it.

To summarize, don't overthink it.

The story is heart felt and touching. Basically the demon king needs a wife and akari was chosen for the role. Throughout the story they become a heartwarming family working together and having cute moments. For the borthing process they don't do the "deed" she births out eggs bc of a potion she drank. It's a mix between weird and funny but I like it!

This manga is such a weird blend of good and bad.

The plot's the weakest part, as it inherently relies on things the west really dislikes (and for good reason);

Pedophelia. No joke. Its something very hard to overlook, considering the MC is only 16...

On the other hand, it's got great comedy, and it does nail a few characters rather well.

The final arc (no spoilers though) is rather weak, it's not too interesting to me. I came for the humor and stupidity of the plot, but I understand that the plot is natural in progression for the most part

(save for the plenty of deus ex machina's through the kids randomly saving the day or having the perfect powers).

The characters I find most entertaining are the Demon Queen and Quatre. These 2 have the most character out of the pack. The rest feel bland, there's just too many characters to flesh out in a good way with only 37 chapters.

Those 2 characters do a lot of heavy lifting, and make up for a solid 2/4 of the total points I gave.

The angry kid, and the incredibly aggressive and pushy mother-in-law, are both very comedic, and are the best joke-givers of the series (aside from the single dad joke in chapter 1).

The art is alright. It's no solo levelling or My Mother's In A Contract Marriage, but it's not as bad as the mediocre harem isekai manga that you see by the buckets.

The manga is not for everyone. It's a very weird mix, like I said, of either very funny things, but sometimes it flops into mediocre acton/slice of life or weird borderline fetish manga.

I'm giving it a 4 because I think the comedy from the earlier and middle chapters was well done (I found it rather entertaining to see such an angry kid as Quatre).  The rest? Terrible. The plot is so absurdly messed up, that it hurts to read.

I perfectly understand if you, as a reader, despise this manga for its more unsavory topics like pedophelia. I just give so little importance to the plot, and focus entirely on how absurd and comedic most of it is.

Tldr:

Plot = mixed bag of the best and worst, not for everyone

Characters= nailed only 3 out of the 12+ characters, none have very good depth of character

Art= better than dime a dozen harems, but not as good as the best I've ever seen, it's a 7/10

Somehow, this manga ended up being such good nightame fuel that I ended up reading more of it out of curiosity then was probobly good for my mental health. Just when you think it can't get any worse the story sets out to prove you wrong with a vengance.

When I read the summary I thought it'd be some cutsy sensored anime handwavy baby raising. No, this girl straight up gets pregnant, shoots a egg out of her vagina, and then starts breastfeeding it. Also, yes she is infact 16. They tried so hard to romantizie her situation but I just couldn't look past how terrifying it was.

Also, when they dressed the 1 week old toddler (go with it, anime logic) as a stripper was when I offiicialy peaced out of this story.
