This is a collection of six one-shots by the author of Parasyte. There are some themes of emotionlessness and some instances of dissociation or other identity crises. Here's a brief summary and impression of each story: Tamura is at first disinterested in a potential suicide jumper, until fe realizes that it's somebody fe knows and has previously met--somebody who had acted in a strange way at an oceanic overlook. I found this story a bit heavy-handed with its themes of suicidal ideations, and the idea of being dirty. I would rate it as a 4/10. There's a sculptor named Otsuki who interacts with a nude model and points out how this girl hasn't been valuing feir body. This story definitely felt preachy, but I think I would still rate it as a 5/10. A story about a serial killer and about telepathy. I would rate it as a 3/10. Yumi has gotten an expensive engagement ring and doesn't trust feir "delinquent" sister Hiroko to hold it. How does Hiroko respond to being snubbed like this and how does helping a dog out of a concrete ravine tie into it all? This was probably my favorite of this batch--I would rate it as a 6/10. Wadayama terrorizes the participants of a class reunion by drawing on their faces. This was a weird horror-comedy story. I would rate it as a 4/10. There is a girl at a university who hasn't been able to cry and who only wants draw bones and skulls. A guy gets interested in fem and gets beat up on feir quest to break through the girl's shell. I would rate this as a 5/10.
