Shiki just moved to Hokkaido, where he meets the wonderful Fuyuki. Fuyuki wants to be Shiki's friend and show him how amazing Hokkaido can be. A wonderful story about making friends, experiencing young adulthood, and learning about Hokkaido.

Highly recommend this for fellow weebs who would enjoy learning about Hokkaido while looking at Super cute girls.

The only major drawback to this is the writing. It goes from a fun "Slice of Life" story to a "Harem Romance" drama.

It ends up going for those generic story troupes 

• One of the girls met a boy when she was young, who could this boy be? It's Shiki because this is apparent a Harem anime.
• Shiki's mother asks a girl to go out with Shiki, because we need a 3rd girl in the Harem
• One Girl confesses to Shiki but he "doesn't hear her confession" because he got distracted

Personal Note: 

I hate how, Shiki kept implying that Fuyuki was some sort of slut, just because she was being super nice to him. I am not a fan of the "this gyaru must be a slut" joke. Shiki is from Tokyo and not some backward-ass village. he should know that a friendly person doesn't equate to slut.

Update: Chapter 59

This just turned into a complete Harem story. And I just realized Shiki is a real Wet Blanket protagonist.

Men it was so good at the start, it was light hearted and warm, it was also comedic. then couple of latest chapters in the manga turned to a more drama phase, the latest stories are just down right downers. What supposedly a good feel series with minimal drama became a cold mess of high school emotions, i appreciate drama manga's but the manga set the tone being slife of life and feel good, its ok to put drama at the right time but the drama is just never ending after another since the new chapters, it just feels like the author doesnt know how to shift the drama and turn it back around, rejection after rejection made it feel like the author is just stalling to lure in readers for more chapters, it would have been better if we finally got a relationship going and start the drama there, the rejections are just stupid and it makes it feel like we are back at the start and it made the mood of the manga very cold. I just cant feel like i am reading the same manga from the earlier chapters up to its more recent chapters.

This manga is… frustrating. It navigates between being an original take on high school harem romances, where people actually talk to each other instead of letting misunderstandings go on for 100 episodes, and… delving nose-deep in generic tropes of the same genre. Or at least baiting you into believing so, before doing a back-flip somehow.

I gave up after chapter 109: the first hundred chapters barely got us further than the pilot did, and even though we got glimpses of something really interesting along the way, the fact is that it now isn’t much more than a very thinly veiled giant advertising for Hokkaido.

The drawings are meh. Not actually bad, but body proportions are often dubious, and the faces look like shit. The girls are supposed to be super attractive, but I just can’t see it.

Ce manga est… frustrant. Il navigue entre aborder la romance adolescente d’une manière originale, avec des gens qui se parlent au lieu de laisser les malentendus durer pendant 100 épisodes, et… plonger à pleine face dans les clichés éculés dudit genre. Ou du moins en le laissant à penser, avant de faire volte-face par quelque artifice de scénario.

J’ai laissé tomber après le chapitre 109 : les cent premiers chapitres nous amènent à peine plus loin que le pilote, et même si l’on aperçoit en chemin quelques pépites de grandiose, le fait est que ce n’est désormais plus guère qu’une publicité géante à peine voilée pour Hokkaido.

Les dessins sont bof. Pas réellement mauvais, mais les proportions des corps sont souvent douteuses, et les visages sont à chier. Les filles sont censées être super canons, mais impossible d’y croire.
