The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior

I do like this story, but I don't like this "everyone is pardoned" trait. From the beginning I had a small theory. I believe that no human is born evil. They are made evil by their surroundings. How would a child develop if it knows it's obviously being neglected and ignored? Loneliness leads to sadness, over years, sadness leads to frustration, and pent up frustration leads to anger. And then, on the 8th birthay she even learns about her hidden sister who got all the love and affection she always wished for... I can't blame her for becoming evil anymore at this point ... I firmly believe this "mother" of hers is responsible for her becoming evil in the og otome game.The queen gave her daughter away and didn't even visit her for years. She did it after a premonition of her daughter becoming evil. Instead of trying to fix that, she simply neglected her daughter, which ultimately caused her loop of loneliness>sadness>frustration>anger. Unforgivable, imho!My theory is: That premonition was created by the queen herself. A simple doubt like "will my daughter be a good queen? What if she's not?" and her resulting thoughts like "What will I do in that case?" could have created that future path.Anyways, I can't forgive her and I can't even accept it. What I can't accept even more is that the MC didn't give a fuck and never even questioned her mother for that. I would have liked her to ignore the queen and reprimint her of her wrongs. Calling her a "mother" is completely undeserved, she should have simply called her "queen" to distance herself from her, since the queen didn't do a single fucking thing to deserve the title of "mother". Soly giving birth does not make you a mother, imho. There's more to it and she didn't do any. My theory is probably wrong, since it's way too deep for a manga. But I can't get it out of my head while reading. I cannot forgive those guys and MC playing nice and not giving a fuck is driving me crazy!

Although there are currently 9 chapters out as I am writing this, I actually think this is a really cute read for those who enjoy the typical "I was a villainess and went back in time, so I am going to be a good person now" types of stories. This whole story over all is just cute and I hope to see the rest of the story because I really like the FL. I am also a huge sucker for female main characters who can defend themselves (like wielding a sword). I hope you guys find this useful and I highly recommend this manga for people who want to read something that makes you feel nice inside.

Sometimes we need manga that exist to show the good in the world and this is the perfect example for that. Majority of the manhwas under the otome isekai genre are quite brutal, with the villainess changing the course of the story and seeking vengeance for those that have wronged them in the past. They accumulate power to avoid their bad end or to ensure that they can live a life as peaceful as they want. To some extent, I think tropes like that are important because they can be an avenue for catharsis since this is escapist fiction.  However, in this manga we are shown an FL who feels responsible for the crimes that are yet to be committed by the original villainess. She reacts with compassion to everyone who feels wronged or is going through something in life and does her best to aid them in whatever way possible. She draws people in because of her sincerity and her skill but doesn't take pride in her successes. Some people may see this as a mary sue type of story but personally, I don't find her character grating or annoying. Rather, she reminds me of what I want to be and what I wish rulers are like. I treated this like a fix-it fanfic - all fluff, no stress - and that works wonders! Should you read it? I say give it a try and then if the first five chapters are your type of trope, I think you would like this. Reviewed at Chapter 17.5.
