Up to ch.24 - The story isn't something new but the execution is mostly really good in many ways. The psychological balance is well kept, in my opinion, although it wakes up a lot of negative feelings the purpose stay clear.

It's a story about a damaged girl who - by accident - meet a 'normal' grown up Man with clear priorities. Instead of saying it's a simple wh...e, you start to wonder what happened to this girl and why she ended like this. If i had to say what other series may cause the same feelings I guess it would be yuri-less 'Citrus'. By emotional balance i mean the moe parts and the disturbing one are well separated and clearly executed. The theme is rather mature and younger people might judge the female characters upfront instead of making their own maind.

I missed the novel but the manga is really good. The Visual part is well made and every chapter feels complete. I guess the echhi part works as the psychological part because... well, you start to think about the male lead. How strong must he be to not give in, although MANY others before him just accepted the premium free ride.

Obviously it's serves a lot of fan service but it's how the anime industry works. I'm almost certain that I'll drop the whole franchise due to heavy emotional balast but people who likes this kind of drama will be satisfied. I do think it's good enough that it can teach something about mental disturbed young girls while showing that it's worth trying to help them.

tbh it is probably a good manga but you know what. i came here for the wholesome romance shit however it turned into this super complicated harem but not harem bullshit that is just complicated as fuck. so if you want to have a complicated story then read but if not then just give up.

It's a good Manga to read if you like mature content and if you can handle the feels like I'm a person who is weak emotionally like just reading ntr doujin I can't handle it so if you can handle that then I'm sure you will like this, its not bad but the feels I'm weak so I dropped it after 6 chapters but it has a good plot and drama in it

Why am I reading all these manga about romantic tension between middle-aged men and high-school girls? Why is this a common trope?

So in romantic stories, it's standard fare for there to be constant back-and-forth tension, a will-they/won't-they that keeps us entranced. The joy of reading these stories comes from filling in the Blanks, from imagining the potential lovey-dovey stuff gurgling just under the surface--the kisses and embraces never felt. The Blanks are possibly more important to these stories than any actual actions taking place, because they give the readers the opportunity to supplement the story with their own fantasies and on a more personal level, to project themselves onto the story and imagine what they might do in that situation.

So that's what happens within a normal romantic story. This story is like the slimy, gross version of that. Yoshida, walking home drunk, runs into a high schooler who offers sexual favors in exchange for letting fem stay at feir place. Yoshida lets fem live with fem, but turns down all feir advances, because fe says fe's not interested in young girls. But the Blank, which the readers are most definitely filling in, is that fe could have sex with fem, fe could take advantage of fem and essentially turn fem into a sex slave. Of course, none of that happens. But this manga is reliant on the potential of that happening, on the readers fantasizing about the creepy Blanks.

Other than that, there's a bit of a harem going on around Yoshida. Manga harems also rely on the readers filling in the Blanks and imagining the hubba-hubba hub to end up with all the various women. The tension from the abundant potential within harems is what makes them addicting, and is probably the reason they're so common in manga.

This review was written after reading volume 10

This manga is a rather faithful adaptation of the novel series, but I find that it struggles a little to show the characters’ emotions and thoughts, making the story harder to follow than in the novels.
