Reasons you might like Alive!...

Thrawn Thrawn says...

Taken out of normality, the two main characters of these series will be pushed to the limits of the human psyche and morality as they confront the unknown and an unrelenting darkness. Tense and suspenseful, each single volume work is a quick read and bound to keep your attention until the final page.

Yakoz Yakoz says...

In both manga the protagonist and the reader are forced to endure, in an active and passive way, a painful situation, a claustrophobic feeling, a mentally deteriorating experience that will influence the story and main character in primis. They're both 1-volume horror manga, so a fairly fast read.

If you liked Confession and you want to bring your thrilling experience to the next level, maybe adding that pinch of horror, Hideout is what you're looking for. If you loved the tension and the thrill from Hideout but you're looking for something softer because you don't like horror, Confession is the perfect psychological read for you.
