This story is simple and has no depth. I dont feel like the author himself was serious about this. It is readable of course but i spent some time to just see panels without reading. The story is note interesting and quite superficial. It's in there to accompany the main character. Unlike others manga/manhwa "the best worker" is basically a main character and secondary characters with a story that come in their road. On some another manga you have already a story, I mean take one piece (classical example everyone knows what is OP) Luffy wants to become the king of pirates and the story will follow that. But "the best worker" doesnt have initial story. You dont know what the main character wants, he has no objectives at all. Basically with that being said, what makes the story in every arc are the kidnapping. You always have a girl from MC's harem who is kidnapped and then MC will be badass and save her. The story only focuses on that point, once again MC has no ambitions at all. Thus the MC is only a badass material, he's strong and that's all. You cant like him because he's not developed you dont even know why he's the main character and not an another man between 3.5 billions men. The author tried to justify the strenght of MC with a blurry dark past. You dont even know what it is, Im not even sure tha author will develop it later. We just know that he wasn't in China and that quite a gloomy and incredible past. Once again I dont even think the author will say us more, it's more likely just a scriptwritting ease to justify without developing the fact that MC can destroy 6 martial artists by himself. The only point of this manhwa is to see a badass MC but... It's not even a redeeming point. Comparing this to solo leveling for instance is like comparing spongebob with dragon ball. Seeing the badass MC wont make you feel anything, not any thrills at all like in solo leveling. + the art on "the best worker" is decent at best. Cold colours, not any feelings in it at all. The art seems as plain as the story and the MC. The romance plot is cliche and decent. Cliche because that constitutes of a girl being kidnapped and saved by MC. Girls will obviously fall in love with MC because he did incredible things and nothing else, no development. Decent because you wont have anything that will fill you if you only read this for romance. Maybe 2 or 3 good moments but no real relations. MC is in love with his initial coworker that lives with him, most of cute moments will be with her. MC doesnt even try to hide his feelings, the girl seems receptive and in love too but it wont develop any father with the 238 chapters at all. It's basically the same thing from chapter 5 to 238. As you can guess characters are plains too. MC is terrible, the girls are not very interesting nor refreshing. Only flora (the initial coworker without any romance development for 238 chapters long) seems to be a little bit better, she seems to shine a little bit more with her behaviour. MC has no past, no visible future, a floppy present. Im not even sure if this guy wants to live. At this point he could be better dead. He seems to have the typical boring life that nobody wants, even worse he's constantly threatened with his relatives. I just do not know the point to watch him through all this shit in his shitty life devoid of any pleasure, happiness, ambitions, dreams... Ihave the feeling that I have overnoted this (especially if you read my review and then compare it with the notes i have given to it) but for some reasons i cant give less than the average. Because as I said it was readable, I cant say why but it was. This manhwa is just average nothing else. At least i liked the comedy and the panels during comedic scenes. I rarely laugh by reading something but this manhwa made me laugh more than with 95% of other things i have read. The drawings could be pretty hilarious and funny to see during those scenes.

Reading this is like watching one of those popcorn movies, those that have zero content and you watch in automatic since there never is any reason to think. So, an easy read with little content, it follows an ex-military or something like that that's trying to lead a normal life yet can't seem to stop running into trouble. He's a decent guy, not to fool of himself nor too meek and the women so far are not very remarkable. Lot's of women will fall for him, there will be many sexual jokes and inuendos and so on, it's a more realistic version of "The superb captain in the city" and it takes itself more seriously. Other than that, art is not good but decent, dialogues are as deep as one would expect and the pace's been fast so far, thou chapters are very short. Overall, decent I guess, might improve once the story (the has to be something behind the kidnaps after all) starts to move forward. Read till ch 65
