The story of a young man's revenge on the heroes that failed him.

Story : Intresting concept but misleading. Art: meh... not bad. MC: no-wimpy. I'd like to see a manga of this.
I was on board for pretty much everything up until the flashback. Then it started getting corny and bland. Though the ultimate point of the story--that "hero" shouldn't be an assigned role--is an idea that's worth building a story around, so I guess I can appreciate that aspect of the latter part of the story. I wish that the antagonist wasn't so unapologetically cruel and evil and that there was more of a moral gray area or something. And if this hero was so resentful of being forced into hero work, then why does fe continue to do hero work and even attempt to increase feir value as a hero (though admittedly through evil means, at times)? Like, why didn't fe do something similar to what Metro Man did in Megamind, and find a way to shirk the obligations foisted upon fem? I dunno. It just feels a little inconsistent is all. The artwork is fine. Clean. Consistent proportions. Good close-ups of hands and firearms. Kinda iffy character designs. A panel layout that flows smoothly.
For a one-shot, that covered really everything about the world, the characters, and the story surprisingly well. It seemed more like a pilot to a manga rather than a one shot. It's amazing how it managed to fit a backstory, fight scene, and epilogue in like 50 chapters. It'd be nice to see this become a real manga.
