Helmut

Helmut was only a baby when he was left in the Forest of Pahe, an evil place full of beasts where sinners are banished for eternity. Luckily, one magical beast and an exiled swordsman take pity on him and raise him as their own. But with a dark seed growing inside him, Helmut decides to take up the sword to prevent the seed from turning him evil. As Helmut grows stronger, he seeks out the family that abandoned him, but will Helmut end up following his human heart or his beastly instincts?

Helmut was a child with a demonic seed inside him so he was abandoned in the Demonic Beast Forest at birth. He was raised by a demonic beast and the first human that he met was the Sword Saint Darien. Little did Helmut know that this chance encounter would soon shake the foundation of his fate… helmut needs to grow stronger if he wants to leave the demonic forest. He possessed overwhelming swordsmanship, outstanding looks and sharp intelligence, but there was one thing he lacked: humanity. This is a top tier fantasy manhwa. It has a unique and original story and the execution of the plot is perfect. The world building is really lit. Main character goes through a lot of character development and he also has a likeable personality. Side characters are also written very well and they are quite memorable. Art of this manhwa is also top tier and it becomes even better during fight scenes. Overall this is a must try for every fantasy genre fan.

It's been a while since I've read a story that doesn't have regresions, isekais, transmigrations, some kind of transformation from an item, system, etc., or some such plot tools, how sad it is that just not being among those makes a story somewhat fresh in recent manhwa.This one is about a kid born with some sort of dark seed that's abandoned and suvives against imposible odds thanks to the seed and an altruist leopard. The story (so far at least) is mainly him getting stronger, learning to control his demonic surges and struggles to live along humans. As it often happens, he meets one evil or bully per decent person. Unfortunately, the MC doesn't kill (yeah, I know he does in ch1, keep reading). That's a major bummer for me, I don't like socipaths that kill every single guy that looks them bad like 50% of the cultivation manhua's heroes, but I don't like MCs that just spare people (often several times the same guy), and yeah, I know there is a reason, can't say I care much for it, and if you can't kill, maim.The good, is a cold collected MC that doesn't overreact over every little thing and doesn't go collecting a harem or acting like a perv, he also doesn't seem to be blinded by gold, all good if a bit bland, given he lived isolated maybe he'll change with exposure to society.Other big one is the art, the char designs are good, but nothing special, the backgrounds and details on the other hand are amazing.Overall, a good read, nothing great so far but has potential.
