Tobe Takako is a deaf high school girl who catches the eye of the friendly Hachiya Nao. Hachiya, hearing that Tobe is deaf, makes attempts to befriend her and create a deep bond between them.

What a beautiful short story about friendship, acceptance and bullying. Highly recommend taking couple minutes out of your day to read and enjoy.

A similar story beat as the Silent Voice pilot chapter, with some people in class not wanting the deaf girl to participate in the choral competition, but a lot less bully-y. Tobe, the deaf girl, and Nao become friends and end up bonding over their shared love of music. It's just a cute little story.

This one shot has a very cutesy art style and it’s just really about friendship more than getting into the romance side of things. Still a good read if you just feel like reading a one shot :)
