Both seem to have the same theme of an arrangment of some kind where a girl is expected but it's a boy. Hanayome wa Juunanasai deals more with a Genderbender kind of thing.

Both are about the married life of a gay couple where one crossdresses most of the time. Both stories have unique characters that are fun to watch interact. Both relationships are cute and both series have decent-to-nice art. Hanayome is yaoi while Otoko is shounen-ai, so Otoko is much more innocent.
