I'm starting to question myself as a man and I'm wondering, Damn why am I looking for romance novels that are either Josei or Shoujo, I mean I normally just go for something like martial arts or just the standard action genre but, nope Josei. But yeah this is pretty good all in all but due to my weak and fragile heart I'm scared of anything happening to them yet I'm not scared to do most things, like I know it'll be happily ever after but goddamn it I feel like she'll get hurt or maybe it'll be Sana and my heart can't handle it, get it the FU@# TOGETHER FACHI STOP WHINING LIKE A BABY.So apparently this has turned into a space for me to rant about the recent Josei I've been reading and godDAMN is it spicy, I read one where he says, Say it, say you want to @#$! me, and all I could think about was, would you f--- me, id f--- me.

This was a title that was recommended to me as an ad and honestly - I didn't expect it to be good. But I was pleasantly surprised. Now word of warning, Hana does have sex with Sana the beast-man.

Overall - 8. It's a really cute manga which an interesting world and likeable characters. Would recommend. I know I that it would seem difficult because of the animal aspect but it's really interesting on how it deals with the prejudice against the beast people.

Story - 7. It feels rushed and it left on a cliffhanger. I would of loved more chapters but...
Humanity created animal-like humans. They were given the title as "Beast-men". Beast-men are stronger than humans and have better senses than that of humans. For that reason humans caged the beast-men in fear. You follow the story as Hana copes with meeting Beast-men and interacting with them in hopes of forming a bridge.

Art - 8. The characters are visually pleasing and I like the cute simplified drawings that are sprinkled in. But certain angles of characters faces look a bit strange at times. The characters don't feel like they are the exact same but some children do when there's a crowd of them. The explicit scenes are well drawn too

Characters - 8. You follow Hana and Sana throughout the story but mainly Hana. She's well written and you can understand the actions that she takes. She has a believable backstory and you can't help but want things to go well for her. Sana has had a few chapters of where it follows his line of thinking.

I don't know if it's because I started off with really low expectations for this but I was so surprised by how much I enjoyed it! The character development and the plot are so much more substantial - I figured this was just a short smut manga but I genuinely couldn't put it down and am desperate for more.

I read this for some time ago and I had been looking for this for so long and couldn't find it but then I finally got to read it!

And I would totally read this again (haha already have)! <3

I just in general love beast worlds and normally I like reading it in a BL but this was also really cute!

For me it could have been longer or maybe made a season 2! >w<

(SPOILER)

The extra chapters was adorable! And omg if the man and beastwoman got there own side story that would be so freaking awesome! >///<

Ofcourse this is a cliche about beast people not having any rights and humans being scared of them. But they still made it there own story by having a wall that divides humans and beastmen wich I thought was very creative and new.

The main characters helps a child with their football "soccer ball" rolling inside a crack in the wall and then her adventure starts from there...

Hana and the Beast Man is a relatively short story, completed at 16 chapters. It portrays the journey of Hana, a human, as she ventures past the wall separating beasts from man.

If you like a fast-paced developing romantic relationship, then this story is great for you. The introductory chapters form the foundation of the relationship between Hana and Sana [the beast man] and progresses to shift the focus on further improving the relationship between beast and humankind.

I found the plot quite interesting, provided it was formed on the cliche of a forbidden romance. However, the ending of the manga was personally unsatisfying as it provided little closure to what seemed to be a plaguing obstacle in the story. ARE BEASTS TREATED MORE KINDLY? WILL THE CEMENT WALL SEPERATING HUMANS AND BEASTS EVER BE TORN DOWN? I NEED ANSWERS!!! It seemed as if there wasn't anything more than a happy relationship between Sana and Hana, never giving context to the future between the two races even though Hana continuously stated that she wanted to abolish the inhumane treatment inflicted onto the beasts.

Overall, I give the manga an 8/10. The plot was great but seemed rushed at the end. The artsyle was excellent and I found myself simping over too many characters. (I'm not a furry, I swear.)
