An ordinary student accidentally traveled into an other universe and became the king of a small kingdom. He had gotten a “Cheating Code” of life and was able to complete something extraordinary. This is the story about a king that was able to conquer continents and leave behind him an ultimate legend that will be recited between every generation to come.
I have mixed feelings about this, it's the same with every chinese novel story I read. But first of zll you have to know that this is good, I mean really really good. Once you start reading it you won't wanna stop. I used every single minute of my free time to read it and I don't regret anything. Good story, the characters were above average and the MC quite smart. With time he became even more cunning, badass and ruthless, the perfect combination. My only pet peeve is that with suge huge stories the author tends to rush towards the 1000th chapter. You can clrealy sense a decline and many plotholes starts to appear. ANd towards the last couple of chapters the author will just shove everything down your throat. Another thig that annoys me is the prophecy plot device. Whenever there is a prophecy, a supposedly gifted child, an omniscient entity that controls everything it removes all sense of tension from the story. SPOILER He goes from a normal dude, to a king to an Emperor? to the missing third son of Emperor Yassin who is also a child of the prophecy? but also the reincaranation of the god of creation or his long lost son or something. Everyone around him are also special people who are descendants of gods. Everything is a conspiracy and none of it is real. It's just a human who became strong and decided to create a world and there you go. It's so boring. Why can't we have a normal person without any special lineage ascend to the throne? Why does is always have to be someone special? After I discovered that he was speacial I couldn't relate to him anymore because everything happening was just meant to be. That's why I loved the story in the beginning. He was a normal dude who got a bit lucky with Diablo world but he had to grind every day to get a little bit stronger, that was his only advantage. But then it became a cheat code and everything slowly went downhill. Overall I like the story still but I regret reading the ending, I would have stopped somewhere before golden squeleton started to appear.
