These two shounen have a lot action, the stories take place in school and they're genuinely funny. Also in my eyes the two protagonists are very similar: they're both delinquents (or former) that let their fists talk and keep their cool for the majority of the time. Let's say one of them is more into girls than the other one (guess who?), but they're both men that have principles and respect the others.

Aiki

Aiki

In the world of martial arts there's one name that strikes fear in the hearts of others: Kunitoshi. As a child, the boy took down expert opponents young and old, but as a result of his abnormal abilities he was unfamiliar with hardships. Therefore his father decided to put limiters on Kunitoshi's body, sapping him of half his original strength. But even with his handicap, Kunitoshi is highly sought after by both his classmates and teachers alike, who are eager to be trained by such a skilled fighter. Alongside busty companions such as Rin, Hou Mei and Akemi, Kunitoshi will battle countless enemies while trying to find a way to remove his body's limiters.

Onizuka and Joukyuu are two irresponsible main characters that think about women, games and... nothing else. They love to create problems for anybody else.. or better, they attract problems.Although Aiki is focused on martial arts and GTO is bound to school settings, these two titles share a fair amount of similarities, starting from humor and continuing with characters.

Both are about teachers trying to handle a problem class. Both are very funny because the students try to get rid of the teacher and often fail.

But both teachers have very different personalities

I think both of main characters are similar in their uncommon ways of dealing with their problems and interacting with their surroundings. Both are cool too.

The main character becomes a parental figure to a teenager who has been abused or did abuse others, and as a result, helps them grow and focus on their future.
