The mc went from weak to strong(trying to get stronger). The allies of the mc are great charcters even some have development, also all the female charcters are strong or stronger than the mc. Spoiler............ he doesnt have a cliche romance with the girl that was introduced in the first couple of chapters, the fl is very likeable , strong and contiuning to get stronger with her own talents & complaints the mc(as they look great together)fights along side the mc shes never an dimsle in distress.
