I couldn't put this manhwa down once I started reading it since the plot piqued my interest. I also found it enthralling because it's about a cursed mermaid's descendant. I've never read a mermaid tale-inspired concept yet, so I'm very much anticipating this. However, I didn't like Taeho from the very beginning. He has a history of saying hurtful things to Eunwoo, such as, "You'll be alone in your whole life," when Eunwoo is distraught after learning of his curse. When they were reunited, he also said things like, "You've never been loved." It was also extremely frustrating every time he gave false hope or toyed with Eunnwoo's feelings throughout the story. I'm not going to lie; reading this manhwa is stressful. Despite the fact that they both like each other, Taeho's behavior towards Eunwoo upset me. In my opinion, he makes the situation even more difficult than it already is. Taeho takes a long time to grow and develop. So, if you want to see his character develop, you'll have to be patient. Despite that, he is afraid that Eunwoo may turn into sea foam and disappear. Whatever the reason, it doesn't justify his actions. Dagwa-nim did an excellent job of writing a fascinating storyline. At first, I'm perplexed because the mermaid was cursed twice, once by the shaman and once by her scholar husband, but I find it compelling. However, it took me a long time to grasp that Taeho was the shaman's descendant, and I only realized it at the end. In addition, I thought Heawon-art nim's style was vibrant, and I actually liked the color palette used in each panel. Despite some of the flaws, I hadn't anticipated this to hurt as much as it did, and it brought tears to my eyes as Eunwoo struggled with not being able to express his love for Taeho as well as the mermaid curse. I'm glad Taeho regrets all he did to Eunwoo and that they eventually found happiness.
